  • Secure Web Application Considerations – This discussion covers the problems, benefits, areas of concern, and resources involved when developing web applications. I purposely did not delve into issues such as Cross Site Scripting and SQL Injection because I want to focus the discussion on good coding practices.
  • System Protections – Initial – Securing your system from the outset is very important. There are many methods and techniques. This discussion brings up a few of the initial details that should be taken into consideration from the outset or even from a new security mindset for an existing system. Speaking

SMU – Computer Science and Engineering
On November 31, 2005 I gave a wireless presentation to the CSE 8349 Advanced Network Security class at Southern Methodist University. SMU just recently began offering a Masters Degree of Science in Security Engineering. The presentation I gave was a wireless presentation prepared by my colleague, Monty McDougal. The presentation was created as a work project and is property of Raytheon Company and therefore cannot be offered here.
