SCC and EHN Community Input

I have been doing my best to provide a little input into two online communities. Although you have heard me talk quite a bit about the Security Catalyst Community (SCC) I have only mentioned the Ethical Hacker Network (EHN) a few times. Well, here are a few items that I have initiated or provided input to in the past week or so in both of these forums. Please check out these threads and anything else that might catch your interest. Both of these are great places for references and input.

SCCWorth the registration:
Automated Pen-Test Tools – A discussion about different automated penetration tools. I provided a little guidance on some Metasploit options.
Jikto – ethical? security? tool? – I started this thread to find out peoples thoughts on the upcoming (now complete) presentation on Jikto.
Publishing Articles – Getting Started – I started this thread so that some of the more experienced writers in the SCC could help those writers who are just getting started.
[UPDATE: I am not sure why these links take you straight to the login page and then drop you in the front part of the forums. This technique seems to work on the Security Catalyst website but maybe it is because it is coming from the same domain. I'll work on this.]

EHN:
Help… Worm? – this thread was started to help provided input about a compromised systems. I did a little research and tried to help out.
Shmoocon Day 2 – ChrisG did a good job of providing this community with a quick overview of ShmooCon happenings. I said thank you.
Ultimate Newbie Question – New security professionals ask a lot of starting out questions. This group provides great leadership to the ones that show up on their forums. I try to add to their great advice.

Go forth and do good things,
Cutaway
